A masterpiece of the French Renaissance, the Château de Maulnes is unique. A pentagon built around a well of water and light, it embodies the genius and passions of a fascinating era. The Château de Maulnes is open to all: self-guided or guided tours, riddle tours and numerous activities and events during the season. It was built in 1566 by Louise de Clermont and Antoine de Crussol, important figures in the French court during the Wars of Religion.
