Circuit du gaulois Brennus
Discover the history and heritage of Sens's historic city centre on your own, armed with this tour booklet and following the arrows on the ground. Historical facts, anecdotes and remarkable sites are recounted along the 56 stages of the tour. The booklet is on sale at our reception desk. Approximately 2 kilometres in length, the circuit can be completed in 2 hours. You can start wherever you like. Arrows on the ground, bearing the likeness of Brennus, will show you the way.
Why "Brennus"? To give a nod to this Gallic chief, from the Sénons people, who gave his name to the town of Sens. He remains famous in history for having taken Rome with his troops in 390 BC. So now he's guiding you to the conquest of the city of Sens!
