Camille Virot exhibition

Vivid materials, exogenous blends, hidden horizons. On the occasion of his fourth solo show at the gallery, one of France's leading ceramists evokes the culmination of half a century of practice for which, he says, "it's simply time to sift through these fifty years to rediscover the substratum, or to bring the old up to date, or more precisely to the artist's taste" and rediscover some of the beacons essential to Virot's universe.
