Welcome to the heart of the Yonne, next to Auxerre, to the 4,500 hectares of Chablisien and Tonnerrois vineyards. They may be small but they are absolutely worth visiting. There are some great walks to do and some delicious local specialities to discover, thanks to the appellations here.
At the heart of the Serein and Armançon valleys
The Chablis vineyard and the Tonnerre vineyard can be found on the rolling hillsides of the Serien and Armançon rivers respectively, both tributaries of the Yonne.
The renowned Chablis appellation represents ¾ of production of the Yonne vineyard!
In this area, you'll be able to taste
- some dry and fruity white wines (appellations Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, Chablis Grand Cru and Bourgogne).
- You can also taste red wines and rosé wines thanks to the Bourgogne Epineuil.
- Make sure you try the Crémant de Bourgogne, the perfect pre-dinner drink!
