Until the end of October, visit the museum at weekends. Once you leave the underground gallery, you'll never look at the work of the miners in the same way again.
The Coal Mining Museum is located on the former Saint-Claude colliery. Tours will make you discover how miners used to work in Blanzy-Montceau coalfield and how techniques evolved during the 200 years during when the mines were working. You will discover the lamp room, the mine shaft, a 200 meter-long and fully equipped gallery...

Open April to June and September to October: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
July and August: every day except Tuesday.
From 2pm, last admission at 5pm, closes at 7pm.
