Site du Montgué

The Montgué site, a spur culminating at 361 metres to the north of the village of Asnan, offers an exceptional panorama over the Yonne valley and the western side of the Morvan massif.
A PR 18 hiking loop crosses the ancient prehistoric barred spur and stops at the site of the oppidum.
A statue of the Virgin Mary dominates Asnan and the undulating hedgerows of the Corbigeois.
Take-off area for paragliders.
Site of floristic interest: pulsatilla anemones, orchids, dry grasslands.
